The Council would like your feedback on this Coastal Reserves Management Plan

Tātou ki Uta covers all Council-managed coastal land from Oriental Bay to Karori Stream, including coastal reserves, beaches, public parks, and areas of road reserve, as well as recreational amenities like tracks, play areas, boat ramps, and public toilets.

The draft plan outlines 5 core values to guide our coastal management approach, and the pathways (or steps) needed to bring these values to life. The plan also divides Wellington’s coastline into 8 distinct geographic areas (management sectors) and describes key values, features, challenges, and proposed actions unique to each area.
