No fireworks on New Years Eve this year - but there are lights!
The Council has advised that:
“We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s New Year's Eve fireworks and the Whairepo Lagoon event due to COVID-19 uncertainty. But look towards the city at midnight as we light up the sky to welcome in 2022.”
