ICW’s Inner-City Resilience and Connections Programme

We have a really big population (17,000+) living within a very small and intensified footprint - Te Aro/Wellington Central.

We are a village! And most of us live in the sky in our over 100 apartment buildings in ‘our patch’.

Our Inner-City Resilience and Connection programme is about creating opportunities for all of us to get to know each other a little better. In that way, we can do things like:

• identify what’s important to us - what we like and don’t like about ‘our patch’

• be a little bit more prepared should we experience an emergency event

• find new ways to engage with our Council to give us confidence and make it feel worthwhile

• discover some easy and delightful things we can do to make our little part of the city even more delightful.
