What's going on down at Queens Wharf?

From WCC website

“Brand new sails are returning to Queens Wharf this month and are looking well-crafted and shipshape.

Parts of Queens Wharf Square will be cordoned off as local contractors will be using heavy machinery to reinstall the sails, rigging and masts.

Works are expected to run from Monday 8 August to Friday 9 September between 7.30am-5pm, but are dependent on weather as calm conditions are required.

The Queens Wharf sails, originally installed in 1996 and contributing towards making the site a popular place for recreational activities, hospitality and events, will be in place for the opening of the World of Wearable Arts 2022 in September.”
