There are tigers in the inner-city! ... know where to find them

It’s Chinese New Year, and this year is the year of the tiger!

From the website
Wellington’s much-loved Chinese New Year Festival is rebranding to the Lunar New Year Festival 2022; a similar event but refreshed and renewed! After 21 years of organising Wellington’s Chinese New Year celebrations, Asian Events Trust is excited to present the Lunar New Year Festival 2022.

Lunar New Year Festival is on 1-12 February 2022.

Find the tigers
Lunar New Year Festival presents five original tiger sculptures representing an element of the Chinese Zodiac; Water, Fire, Wood, Metal, Earth. In traditional Chinese philosophy, five elements, or five phases theory, outlines the relationship between the different elements in nature and the life force or ‘qi’ that flows through them.
