The anti-social behaviour of particular concern to inner-city residents is the misues of alcohol, drinking in the streets, drunken behaviour and the associated noise, nuisance, mess (bottles, vomit, urine) and disturbance late at night and early in the morning. This has an impact on the public’s enjoyment of amenities and their environment.

We have been very involved in the area, most significantly in its appeal of the WCC Provisional Local Alcohol Policy back in 2014.  Since then we have been a member of the WCC-initiated Alcohol Forum, which aims to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to reduce anti-social behaviour and harms arising from alcohol.
